TAKE THE CHALLENGE: FUTURE COMMUNITIES

Smart technologies like smartphones and wireless sensors give us feedback in the form of data about the people, places, and infrastructure that surround us, letting us see things like how much energy we consume or how far we’ve walked.

Imagine a community where smart technology is available in the cities’ infrastructure to collect data about how that infrastructure operates, and the activity in or around it. This smart technology is built into street lights, public transportation, charging stations, solar panels, and inside the controls of buildings.

Then imagine you have the power to use this data to make these different utilities and systems work together, and improve citizens’ way of life. Make a game that shows how smart technology can make your community, school and neighborhood a better place to live, learn and play.
