NYC 2019 G4C Student Challenge Awards Ceremony

Location: Parsons School of Design at The New School, 63 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10011
Description: The G4C Student Challenge Awards Ceremony in NYC will honor the student Finalists in this year’s competition.  The event will start with a showcase of Finalist games, which will be available for all attendees to play, and will lead into a ceremony where we will announce the winners in each of the four theme categories.  There will be a total of 8 winning games (one high school winner and one middle school winner per theme category), plus a Grand-Prize Winner.

Description: Join Games for Change for our last Game Jam of the year! Flex your creative muscles and learn the fundamentals of game design in a fun new context! This game jam will challenge students to create games about Endangered Species.

Description: 100 years ago, the average life expectancy for someone living in the US was 50 years-old. Today, however, 50% of kids born in the last 10 years are expected to live to be over 104! Join the Games for Change Student Challenge for a full day of game design focused on building games that help us prepare for a long, healthy and prosperous life. Together, we will explore and imagine how a dramatically lengthened lifespan would impact virtually every aspect of our lives.
