Interest In Social Issue Games |
As we know games are powerful but underestimated. Games can provide the context for change but can they truly change without some kind of debrief for participants? I continue to struggle with this and see that this group has many of the same purposes I do for bettering these powerful tools. I hope that this group can engage discussions about social learning and improving outcomes for games with purpose. |

Your Bio |
I am a lurker on the list. I have just finished my dissertation in an educational technology program. Living in New York right down the street from a firehouse that first tested one of the really successful games for first responders I studied three games for first responders, designers, and participants to better understand the role community played in learning outcomes. The study contributes to improving games for learning in CoPs.
I am a learning strategist for corporate learning programs where I utilize technology to improve learning outcomes. I have been working in this area for 10+ years where I integrate instructional design with innovative technologies whenever possible. |
