Full Description

Connect2Climate is a social initiative program to reach out to youth on issues of Environment, Climate Change awareness and Green technologies through the medium of vaiety of Mobile and Desktop games. Initailly 3 mobile phone games namely Polar Teddy, Mission Lighting and DeCarbonator are launched on Mobile networks in India. The Desktop games namely Copenhagen Challenge, Great Save and Climate Mela are launched.


Metrics
How are you measuring results?
In six months of launch of 3 mobile games namely Polar Teddy, Mission Lighting and Decarbonator. It has reached to 13 million subscribers with 2.4 million successful game sessions played.

What outcomes have been measured?
Four important measurements for outcomes assessment are: 1. R- Out Reach through Mobile Oprators 2. G- Game Session Played 3. D- Diverse Distribution factor 4. L - Learning Index Achieved Current status of the parameters are: R- 12.9 million G- 2.38 Million L- Increased Learning co-efficient by 0.41 (on a scale of 1) D- 63% distribution in small and medium towns of India.

Where you can play this game Currently the games are live on Indian Mobile Networks of Reliance Infocomm's R-World. On 1st May 2009, the games will go global through a wap portal of Connect2Climate.org. The desktop games will be available on Connect2Climate website (www.connect2climate.org). We can arrange games for demonstration on request.
