Games for Change (G4C) provides support, visibility and shared resources to organizations and individuals using digital games for social change. This is the primary community of practice for those interested in making digital games about the most pressing issues of our day, from poverty to race and the environment. We are the social change/social issues branch of the Serious Games Initiative.

Deloitte Partnership Creates Virtual Cash for United Way

Deloitte and Touche, a financial consulting firm, has asked BrandGames to develop “The Virtual Team Challenge for High Schools”, an online simulation in which student teams raise virtual cash for the United Way



More than 5,500 students nationwide are participating in the program. While the primary goal is to spread interest in the fields of accounting and business consultancy, the simulation allows teens to experiment with ethical situations while gaining experience with business best practices.  The winning team makes a real-life donation and gains a grant for their school.
