Games for Change http://www.gamesforchange.org/ Games for Change (G4C) provides support, visibility and shared resources to individuals and organizations using digital games for social change. We formed in 2004 as a sub-group of the Serious Games Initiative. The 2006 conference was developed to showcase the state of the art, evaluate outcomes achieved, and to grow the overall capacity of the sector. G4C acts as a national and international hub to help organizations network and develop videogame projects beyond their traditional expertise. Our members represent hundreds of organizations and include partners in the games industry, academia, nonprofits, local and state governments, foundations, the UN and artists. 2006-07-24T01:11:48-05:00 How to Get Involved http://www.gamesforchange.org/archives/000165.html Resources bstokes 2006-07-24T01:11:48-05:00 Conference Press http://www.gamesforchange.org/archives/000169.html Recent press from our 2006 conference includes: 7-Aug: Newsweek International: Games for Good (shortened print version of the July 11th Story) 26-Jul: Wisconsin Public Radio (Here on Earth): 1-hr radio show with James Paul Gee and Benjamin Stokes on 'games...
