Computer Scientist, Independent
Ramsey Nasser is a conceptual computer scientist investigating programming as a medium of self expression. He develops new languages to explore the relationship between human imagination and machine instruction. His work ranges from the practical to the critical, from tools meant to encourage computational creativity to pieces that question the basic assumptions we make about code.
In addition to programming languages, Nasser also designs games, installations, and other experiences meant to show people things they’ve never seen before. He currently lives in New York city.
