Jack has been working with youth since his mom volunteered him to work at his local public library in Cornelia, Georgia at the age of thirteen. Since then, he’s been developing programs for children and teens in libraries in Athens, Georgia; Providence, Rhode Island; and most recently at The New York Public Library, where he partnered with Global Kids to create NYC Haunts, a mobile, interactive alternate reality game designed by youth to teach youth about immigration, social issues and New York City history. Jack also has an extensive background in theatre, the arts, technology, science and dance. He received his BA from the University of Georgia and his Masters in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. Jack speaks conversational French and lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his husband and two bad cats.
