The Come Out & Play Festival with Games for Change has awarded the Real-World Games for Change design challenge of $5,000 to Suzanne Kirkpatrick, Jamie Lin and Nien Lam for their outdoor game, “Commons,” which will be played in Lower Manhattan as part of the River to River Festival on June 19th. “Commons” is a game for urban communities to improve their city through citizen stewardship and to provide a feedback loop into the City’s 311 system. The designers will present their findings from the game to festival attendees.

Greg Trefry, Co-Founder of Come Out & Play, will frame the presentation and engage the game designers in a conversation on the first full run of their game.
