LATE PROGRAMMING ADDITION: Funder Roundtables

We are right on the eve of the biggest and most ambitious Games for Change Festival yet, and even still, we are adding great new content to the event.

Just announced: Funder Roundtables

Here’s more info about this exciting event:

Tuesday, June 19, 2012
12:30 – 1:30 PM and 3:30 – 4:30 PM
Location: NYU Kimmel Center – 60 Washington Square South, 9th floor

Think of it as speed-dating with funders, but minus the pitch.

Following last year’s Festival, we heard that you’re interested in greater networking opportunities. These roundtables are structured to provide game designers, developers and organizations with games in development an opportunity to hear more informally from some of the funders in attendance. It’s your chance to ask questions about what they’ve funded and determine any guidelines for submissions or proposing collaborations. Bring your questions. Please also respect the format and do not launch into a lengthy pitch about individual projects.

How it works:  Each funder will be seated at a roundtable for one hour. Our team will invite 8 – 9 Festival attendees to join them every 15 minutes. That’s about how long it will take to introduce yourselves and have a brief group conversation. Access will be first-come, first served and our staff will facilitate the rotation of seating at the table.

Here’s the schedule. Happy networking…
